Ryleigh's Surgery

Ryleigh had been suffering from an awful ear infection for 3 months. We had her on numerous antibiotic prescriptions and they were not working. She even had shots of antibiotics injected. We finally got referred and scheduled at the Spokane Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic. The hardest part about the entire surgery was that Ryleigh was unable to eat after midnight before her surgery that was at 7:30 a.m. the next morning, she did not like that very much at all! Ryleigh handled the anesthesia very well and after the surgery she was soooo happy! We had her hearing tested before the surgery and she had lost 40% of her hearing. She acts as if her hearing is back, we will have a followup appointment to find out for sure. She definitely has been sleeping much better and her balance has improved, she started walking soon after the surgery.
